Little Dribblers (birth year 2019-2021) - $90
Intramural (birth year 2017-2018) - $105
Register as soon as possible!
Please use this form to register your child for the \A/ Youth Field Hockey Program. This program is offered for students in Grades 1-6. Practices will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings beginning on August 20th until approximately October 3rd. Some weeks, we may have optional Wednesday practices and/or games. This will be determined by field availability and \A/ Junior/Senior High game schedules.
Some practices may start later depending on the Varsity Field Hockey Schedule.
If there is interest, we will be entered in some Play Days that will be held on weekends. Information about this will be forthcoming. We will also be playing in some Wednesday Night games with local schools. Scheduling is still being worked out for these pick up games.
Players will need water, shin guards, a mouth guard, and a field hockey stick. (Some sticks will be available if needed.)
Payment will be $80. Venmo (@Sue-Wojciechowski) or send/drop off a check to Sue Wojciechowski: 4 Tewkesbury Drive, Wyomissing, PA 19610. Checks can be made payable to Wyomissing Field Hockey Booster Club.

Where: West Reading Playground, rain or shine - grass near the playground, or under the pavilion
When: Saturdays, 9 - 10am
Details: Combine the joys of yoga with the joys of nature as you root down and rise up with the trees, trail your fingers through the grass, and cloud gaze on your back. Join yoga teachers Lisa Frank and Maddie Hertzog for an all-levels, outdoor yoga class. Meet in the grass near the playground at the West Reading park with your mat and water.
Rain or shine! If it rains, we meet under the pavilion.

Details: Join us for an Alfred Hitchcock classic: Rebecca, starring Laurence Olivier, Joan Fontaine & George Sanders. This film tells the story of a young woman who marries a fascinating widower, only to find out that she must live in the shadow of his former wife, Rebecca, who died mysteriously several years earlier.

Where: Wyomissing Public Library Patio or Community Room (weather depending)
When: Tuesdays 9 - 10am
Details: Put on your comfortable clothes and sneakers, and come out to our weekly Qigong practice. Weather permitting, we’ll practice in the patio. In case of inclement weather, we’ll be inside in the spacious community room.
Jay Umble will be our guide in this ancient Asian practice that teaches breathing, mindfulness and movement. There is a $5 class fee.

Where: Wyomissing Public Library
When: Wednesdays 10:30am - 12pm
Details: Children will enjoy books, songs, rhymes, and movement activities while building social, language, and literacy skills. All storytimes are followed by a craft to help develop fine motor skills, as well as to reinforce the story themes.
For children age 3 and up. No registration is required.
Where: Wyomissing Public Library
Time: Wednesday July 24th, 1-2:30pm
Details: Enjoy a two-session art class focused on butterflies at the library this summer. Students will create a three-dimensional mixed media butterfly, as well as a series of watercolor studies. Classes begin with instruction and an introduction to materials but leaves a lot of room for personal creativity. No experience necessary.
This two week course will meet on the following dates:

Class size is limited to 15 students. The cost is $15 for the series, payable to the Wyomissing Public Library on or before July 24. Registration is required and includes the full series; no single class registration will be accepted, and no refunds will be given. Register online.
A native of Wyomissing, Sara Miller has always found inspiration in nature. Growing up surrounded by the beauty of her community, it has been a consistent theme in her artistic work. She studied both studio art and art history at Dickinson College and SACI in Florence, Italy. After graduation, she spent several years in New York City, ultimately settling on a career as an elementary and middle school art teacher. Following the birth of her children, she was able to focus on her own work and moved beyond drawing, painting and collage into fibers. Join us for some Vinyasa style yoga led by yoga instructor Amy Sharkey. Each class is one hour long. All levels of experience are welcome. This program will be held in the library's community room.
Summer Session costs $108 for 9 weeks (no class on July 5). Drop-ins are welcome. The cost is $15/class.

Details: Mother Goose on the Loose (MGOL) incorporates nursery rhymes, music, and movement to aid in developing social, language & literacy skills, and strengthening bonds between caregiver and child. It is most beneficial when children experience the program on a weekly basis.
MGOL typically lasts 15-20 minutes and is followed by creative play with puppets, books, and blocks.
For children ages birth to 3 years old. No registration is required.
