The West Reading Planning Commission meets tonight, July 3rd at 6pm at the West Reading Borough Hall.
The WR Planning Commission will be continuing review and discussion of the draft downtown zoning ordinance.

I won’t be able to attend the West Reading Planning Commission meeting tonight, as Heath is having his birthday party before the Wyomissing moonlight swim and fireworks. But I hope you can make it!

West Reading Recreation: Yoga, Qigong & Karaoke
The West Reading Recreation Commission met July 2nd to review previous events, update on ongoing events and plan future events and activities.
Updates from this meeting included:
Rides ‘N Vibes date/time change: the community bike ride will change to the first Thursday of the month at 6pm starting August 1st. Gathering after the ride at Barley Mow.
Yoga in the Park, held Saturdays at 9am, and Qigong in the Park, held Fridays at 9:30am, are ongoing through September at West Reading Playground and are well-attended. Both events are donation-based, run by The Nest Collaborative.
The West Reading Recreation Commission is planning a Battle of the West Reading Karaoke Stars on Sunday September 1st. Stay tuned (pun intended) for an event page and other updates.
