Wed. June 5th, West Reading’s Planning Commission met.

I only made half the meeting, as the West Reading borough homepage calendar listed a start time of 7pm. The actual start time was 6pm, and was reflected on the West Reading Planning Commission webpage.

The West Reading borough administration has since corrected the calendar.

West Reading Zoning Ordinance

The West Reading Planning Commission continues reviewing the final draft of the downtown zoning ordinance.

Highlights during this meeting came from the varied backgrounds and expertise of the planning commission members. The depth of knowledge and experience facilitated nuanced and detailed engagement with the draft zoning ordinance, thoughtful consideration, and insightful questions. Discussion included regulations for ghost kitchens, decorative fences, and awnings.
