🏀 🏫 Summer Basketball League Venue Change, 🎇 July 3rd Moonlight Swim & Fireworks, and 🩱🤿 Pool Guest Vouchers

The Wyomissing Recreation committee announced a venue change for the girls high school summer basketball league, and a plan for fireworks after the July 3rd moonlight swim.

The borough council has approved a guest voucher per each Wyomissing Pool membership due to the pool’s delayed opening.

Originally slated for the Happy Hollow basketball courts, the girls high school summer basketball league has changed venues to the Wyomissing Area Jr/Sr High School.

Organized by Wyomissing high school girls basketball Coach Aaron Anders, the league games take place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

On July 3rd, the Moonlight Swim at the Wyomissing Pool will again be followed by a fireworks display.

Attendees at the Moonlight Swim will leave the pool area around 9:30pm, as the fireworks will be set off from the pool grounds once everyone clears the area.

Traffic control will be in place as folks leave the pool to go to spots to watch the fireworks.
