West Reading Borough Council met on Tuesday August 20th.

I was out of town and planning to watch via Zoom. However, I have confirmed with the West Reading borough staff the audio failed both during the live Zoom and in the Zoom recording this week.

Borough staff offered to talk through any agenda items with me to let me know what happened in the meeting. While appreciated, this is of limited utility as I cannot ask them to recount full discussions, etc. Borough staff reported that the minutes from the August 20th meeting will not be available to the public until after the September 17th West Reading Borough Council meeting.

The borough staff confirmed that all action items on the August 20th West Reading Borough Council meeting agenda were approved, with the exception of the Seventh Avenue paving repairs from the Engineer’s report (agenda item 7.b.3). Seventh Avenue paving repairs can be done more cost-effectively next year in combination with other paving projects, so that action item was tabled.

West Reading Borough Council meets again to discuss budget on Tuesday August 27th at West Reading Borough Hall, as long as they can obtain a quorum according to borough staff. The meeting can also be watched on Zoom.
