Elemental movie still

β€œElemental”

Watch as Ember, a fiery, quick-witted gal, and Wade, a fun, go-with-the-flow guy, navigate their friendshipβ€”and maybe even challenge a few of Ember's "hot takes" on life.

Expect plenty of laughs, feels, and maybe a few element-al surprises. As Wade might say, β€œI break up easily...but this movie is solid! ”

Bring your friends, family, and blanketsβ€”and if you’re lucky, maybe Wade will teach you how to chill like a true water-resident.

Sponsored by our awesome pals at ROG Orthodontics.

This year’s walks not only showcase the breathtaking transformation of our Parklands but also provide educational insights into historic landmarks and hidden gems. Along the way, participants will encounter points of interest such as the echoing "Old Man Echo," the former site of Lutz's Farm, Rieth’s Gristmill, and more.

Mark your calendars for these three Sunday mornings of scenic discovery:

  • Sunday, September 29th

  • Sunday, October 13th

  • Sunday, November 10th

Location: With the construction project at the Stone House and Lawn area, please register at the GOODMAN BARN - just off Old Wyomissing Road in the Parklands, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on any of the walk days.

In the spirit of community engagement, we welcome voluntary donations to the Wyomissing Recreation Department. All contributions go toward creating inclusive programs and events for our residents.

We’re also proud to partner again with Helping Harvest Fresh Food Bank. If you're able, please bring canned or non-perishable food donations to support local families in need this fall and the holiday season.

Whether you’re joining for the scenic views, historical learning, or the sense of community, the 2024 Fall Walk Series offers something for everyone. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to embrace autumn’s beauty while exploring the natural and historical treasures that make Wyomissing unique!
