1200, 1300, 1400 Blocks of Dauphin Curb Replacement in 2026

The Wyomissing Infrastructure Committee anticipates replacing curbs in 2026 on the 1200, 1300, and 1400 blocks of Dauphin Avenue in Wyomissing.

Homeowners are responsible for the full cost of curb replacement, per the documents for the Wyomissing Borough’s 50/50 sidewalk replacement program. (The 50/50 sidewalk program only allows cost sharing between the homeowner and borough for sidewalk repair - see the linked document for more details.)

The plan is yet to be approved by the Infrastructure Committee in a way that allows the borough to begin taking action. After getting the go-ahead from Infrastructure, Wyomissing Borough employees typically send letters in December to inform impacted homeowners of the next year’s curb replacement. Therefore, homeowners of the 1200, 1300, and 1400 blocks of Dauphin Avenue may expect notification in December 2025 of curb replacement happening in 2026.

When replacing curbs, the Wyomissing Borough bids the work collectively with a contractor, and sends the bids to the homeowners. Homeowners can accept the bid for their property, or make their own arrangements for curb replacement.
